Products
Covering large emitters (those emitting over 25,000 metric tons of CO₂), the Western Climate Initiative (WCI) Cap-and-Trade System is the largest in North America. McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions Carbon allowances et Carbon offsets (CCOs) to meet your compliance obligations.
The newly designed B.C. Output-Based Pricing System (BC OBPS) is mandatory for operations that emit over 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) per year. McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions can supply you with B.C. verified offset units to meet your compliance obligations.
The Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) program is Alberta’s industrial carbon pricing and emissions trading system and applies to industrial facilities emitting 100,000 tonnes of CO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalent) or more annually, as well as those who opt-in voluntarily. McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions can supply you with TIER offset credits to meet your compliance obligations.
Federal offset credits can be sold and used for compliance by facilities covered in the federal Output-Based Pricing System (Federal OBPS). The system applies to industrial facilities emitting 50,000 tonnes of CO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalent) or more annually, as well as those who opt-in voluntarily. McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions can supply you with Federal offset credits to meet your compliance obligations.
Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
A REC represents 1 megawatt of clean electricity injected into the power grid. These certificates can be used to certify the use of clean electricity for both compliance purposes, as well as voluntary purposes to offset Scope 2 emissions.

Clean Fuel Regulation (CFR) Compliance Credits
McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions acts as a strategic supplier of CFR Compliance Credits to meet your compliance obligations.
McGill St Laurent Climate Solutions has also co-developed the CFR Platform, an aggregation project generating CFR Compliance Credits.
